I’m Aman. Corporate professional by choice. Father by the greatest fortune of my life.
Somewhere between a boardroom and a bedtime story, I found something worth writing about.
It started with four words on a LinkedIn bio.
When my first daughter was born, I did something small. I updated my LinkedIn profile.
Next to a decade-long career in the Big Four, I added four words – her name, and Dad.
Not as a footnote. Not as a fun fact. As a declaration.
Because in that moment, something shifted. Not in my ambition – that did not go anywhere. But in my understanding of what ambition is actually for.
The late nights, the client deadlines, the relentless drive to perform – all of it suddenly had a clearer purpose. And a clearer audience.
I started writing about it on LinkedIn. Honest posts. Real moments. The guilt of missing school drop-off for a 7am call. The leadership lesson my daughter taught me at the breakfast table. The beautiful tension of being both career-driven and deeply devoted to being present at home.
Ten Years. Big Four. Still Learning.
I have spent over a decade working in one of the most demanding professional environments in the world.
Strategy, execution, leadership, client delivery – the Big Four sharpens you in ways that are difficult to explain unless you have lived it. It teaches you to think clearly under pressure, communicate with precision, lead teams, manage complexity, and deliver results when the stakes are high.
But what it does not prepare you for is fatherhood.
That gap – between the professional I was trained to be and the father I wanted to become – is what The Corporate Dad is built around.
